Learn how to sand cast a bronze ring in a variety of shapes and sizes using traditional sand casting techniques. Students will explore shaping and finishing their cast ring before fabricating a custom sterling silver sleeve for the inside of the band. The silver liner adds comfort and helps prevent the bronze from tarnishing your finger. A perfect class for students interested in casting, fabrication, and mixed metal jewellery techniques. Students will have the opportunity to make more than one ring if time permits. Beginners are welcome!
