Inspired by the smooth pebbles and glimmering rocks found along the bottom of a bubbling creek, this cuff brings a little bit of nature into your jewellery.

In this class, you'll create a beautiful sterling silver cuff with a softly textured surface, scattered silver pebbles, and a cabochon gemstone nestled among the details. Work entirely in sterling silver or add touches of bronze for a warm contrast.

Learn how to create a subtle, organic texture using your torch, melt silver into granules of different sizes, and arrange and solder them to create the look of pebbles scattered along a creek bed. You'll also learn how to make a bezel setting for your cabochon gemstone and incorporate it into your design.

We'll finish by forming the cuff to fit your wrist and exploring finishing techniques that bring out the contrast between the smooth, polished pebbles and the textured silver beneath.
